When dog training turns into your professional career, there’s
a lot more to know then merely handling and training a dog. Dog
training is a client-oriented service in which you coach your
clients to successfully train their dogs. This five week telecourse
will improve your communication and teaching skills, as you learn
about the adult learning process and how to best teach the motor
skills required for dog training. You will also learn classroom
management skills, including how to develop detailed lesson plans
and follow a curriculum that will improve your clients’
success. Learn how to flexibly adjust your teaching methods to
accommodate a wide range of human learning styles, just as you
adjust to differences between dogs. Successful dog trainers must
know how to motivate people and monitor their progress just as
you do dogs’. This telecourse is a must for any trainer
who wants to do a better job teaching the critters at the other
end of the leash, who are really the ones you’re training.
The course comes with class notes and recommended
readings.
